Whirlpool ADP659 Slimline Dishwasher provides 10 different place settings, it also makes it possible for the removable upper rack. This system of removable upper rack is beneficial when the larger and bulkier vessels need to be accommodated. Along with it comes the flexible racking system that allows adjusting the setting of the different rack based on the requirement of the user. It is also been provided with the spacious cutlery basket. It consists of a stainless steel heating element that is been concealed in the walls of the appliance. Noted is the fact that this appliance works on the condenser type of drying system and hence offers the flexibility to be installed anywhere without the need for venting. The doors belongs to the counter balanced type.

Control panel:
The control panel of Whirlpool ADP659 White, Silver Dishwasher is simple but efficient. It has a rotary type control and the indicators to that denote the status of the programme. These programme status indicators are LCD display. The various indicators are for the ‘Rinse aid refill indicator’, ’salt refill indicator’ and ‘remaining time indicator’. The control also works for the anti-flooding system that is been embedded in this model, this is an automatic control for the safety of the home. In case of signs of flooding the appliance is been made to stop the washer cycle and the water supply is blocked.

Verdict: Whirlpool ADP659 Freestanding Dishwasher is good in terms of its energy class and the compact structure. The downside noted are the absence of the popular 6th sense technology of the brand, auto clean filter and the most essential half load option.
